Avego Shout was developed as a space to advertise carpooling to your friends when someone was going somewhere. The app was specifically designed for such people who travel usually with friends. If someone had a regular group, then this app helped in the conversation for pickup time and location thus reducing the anxiety and back-and-forth communication. It sent instant messages to help everyone communicate their present locations, instead of using emails and SMS. With the help of map, they could trace driver’s location and see how close they are to getting picked up. Heavy Avego ride sharing activity was present in Seattle, Washington, and Orlando, Florida. I worked very closely to PO, designers and the server-side team to successfully deliver this idea to the AppStore.
