Avego was a real-time carpooling app that helped matching the driver’s commute journey with where riders are looking to travel. The app guided the driver to pick-up and drop-off passengers with audio instructions, which made this real-time ridesharing system work extremely smoothly along actively travelled Avego transport corridors. A combination of automated security features, real-time passenger information, and electronic micro-payments allowed riders and drivers to easily share the cost of a journey. I worked in collaboration with CEO, PO, designers and the server-side team. I attended monthly brainstorming meetings with CEO and PO regarding current and future products. I constantly reviewed and give feedback to designs and UX flows. I implemented many new features into the app ensuring high quality code and a great user experience.
